Under pressure from Neila
I've heard from several, "Hey dude, post something." Got home and didn't really have the time nor see the immediate need. But, being that it is hard to keep in touch with folks, it may be the best way. So, after getting shamed from Neila (friend in our travel group to China), and Becky, come to think of it, Huddle, church folks, friends, etc., here we go again.
It has been quite busy since we got back. Adjustments, diapers, bottles, school, no sleep, insurance junk, etc. But, we had time for a few things. Spencer was in a play and was the game show host. Afterward, he thought he would woo the women and pose for Gap Kids. We haven't received any royalty yet.
Our first Easter found Spence and Yazi getting all gussied up getting ready for church. Her hair is finally starting to thicken up a little. I think eventually I'll post a metamorphysi? (spelling?) of her hair since we got her.
The Yazmanian Devil got caught in the act doing something. Spencer was easy going, still is, and never got into anything. She is completely opposite. High strung, nosey and into everything. Non stop battle with her. She doesn't realize it's a battle of wills and I will win.
As you can see, nothing is sacred or out of her realm of influence. She starts driving next week.
Overall, we are all happy. A little tired maybe, but who isn't these days. This was easter egg hunt day. Yazi went after a few herself. This entry is short and sweet. I'll start adding more later.

Wormywag in the House! So glad you've been pressured by others to update your website! We have continued to check your website from time to time hoping you might have posted something new. Not to mention we always LOL when I read it! Can you believe we are already having to think about our 6 month post placement?

Well...it's about time!!!! Oh my goodness that Spence is handsome! And Yazi...what a doll. Doesn't even look like the same little girl we met in China. We miss you and all our travel buddies. Give your kids a hug from the Pannells...Neila
i love your pics- esp. the one of big brother holding Yazi on Easter! that is a keeper.
i know this whole ordeal has been so overwhelming- but we have a Big God who is able to do excedingly abundantly more than we can ask or imagine- a year from now i would love to hear what you have learned about Him and about yourselves from this whole process.
i love your sweet little family and i am so excited to watch you all grow- i thank GOd that Yazi now has a home where she will learn about God and His precious Son Jesus.
Blessings to you all,
Melissa Kirchner
