First day of touring

Last night, it was so cold outside that we decided to redneck a refrigerator and put the drinks out on the window ledge. The wind kicked up and blew a diet coke four floors down, but the water was very cold. WEll, there was dismay in my hotel room about that diet coke. This was added to the dismay that chelle had no deodarant. This is a major bad thing. I was hearing all about it. Found the deo, went outside, found the diet coke. I was the hero for the day.

This is the food and fish market in the Chinese wal mart. The ladies do not like being in the somewhat smelly area of the store.


This is the square. Amazingly huge. The temp today was around 20 degrees. The wind was blowing around 40 miles an hour. Wind chill around 0 degrees.


You can't capture cold in a picture. But this is as good as it can get. We are smiling because our mouths are frozen, not cuz we are happy.

This is a small post, but I'm heading to breakfast. I'll add more later. This gives you a taste of what happened today.
