Here's the itinerary

The Greer posse is heading out Wednesday morning bright and early. Somebody make sure my mother knows so she'll be on time. We have to be in Little Rock at 5:30 am to check in and so on. The donut maker has asked us to wake him up on our way in. Switching to Beijing time, we will arrive on Thursday around 3:00. We will be approximately 13 hours ahead of Arkansas folks. So, if you want to know what will happen tomorrow to you and yours, call us and we'll fill you in. We are actually arriving a day earlier than most of our group. I think two other families will be flying on the same plane. So, we all will have Friday to do whatever we want to do. I'm thinking temple of heaven or sky of China or whatever the sights are called. The official Beijing sight seeing with all of our group starts on Saturday the 16th. We will see the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square. Then, Sunday we have church service at an International church, I believe. One that apparently is not under the thumb of the government. Then, we see the Great Wall of China. Never thought this bumpkin would say that.

MONDAY
This is GOTCHA day. We fly out of Beijing on a cropduster to Guangxi. We welcome our daughter Yazi to the family. One of our group members as been before to this province and said they have a very neat ceremony where they present each daughter to each family. This is the day we are waiting for.

Starting on Tuesday, Dec 19 to Dec 21, we will handle volumes of paperwork, have our civil affairs appointment (at this appointment, she is officially ours), and some additional sightseeing.

Friday Dec 22 - Cargo plane to Guangzhou where the Consulate is located. From Dec 23 - 25, we will handle additional paperwork and the formal medical exam will be administered, not to us, Yazi. This won't hurt a bit, Merry Christmas.

Tuesday Dec 26 - Consulate appointment'

Wednesday Dec 27 - Pick up Yazi's Visa. Piddle a little. Sleep a little. Eat alot.

Thursday Dec 28 - play and do what we wish.

Friday The Day - Dec 29 Leave Guangzhou, drop into Hong Kong, say hi for about ten minutes, then it's home, We arrive in Little Rock somewhere around 10:00 pm. Boy is that going to be a bummer. Pops will pick us up and chaffeur us home. Then, life begins.
