Wrapping up the first day
I have posted the pictures backwards. So, the day is going in reverse on this post. I'll correct it tomorrow. We'll be out of the hotel quite a bit tomorrow, so may not be as much posting. Ate at the Royal Cafe in the hotel, didn't feel like going out and about. Spencer wasn't quite sure what to do with chopsticks. They quickly became drumsticks.

Spencer is getting his hand at taking pictures on this trip. Honey gave him a 35mm to take his own pictures, and we let him use the digital at times. None of our heads are cut off. Honey can take some lessons from him.

Everyone had a good dinner. Drank every sip of the diet coke because cold ones are hard to come by except at Carrefour (Chinese Wal-Mart run by the French, go figure). Spencer was starting to get tired, so he thought that he would show everybody.

Catch a nap when you can and where you can. Spencer said that I was quite comfortable. I'm not sure how to take that.

Everyone is comfortable. Mom just has to wear a few more clothes than Spence.

When you have lots of padding, like we do, there's plenty comfortable cushyness to lay on...
I'm excited for you guys! I'm glad that you get to post updates while you are there. Have fun on your tours!

It is 5:30 in the morning on Saturday. We just woke up. Can't sleep. Yesterday, from our room, we watched three guys on break playing some card game for money. One guy took the other guys to the cleaners. Fight almost broke out when they didn't give him his money.
Thanks for filling us in. It must seem a world apart for you guys - particularly with the jet lag and all. I'm glad to see that Judy turned up in some of the pix, since she wasn't mentioned much.
Look forward to seeing you guys with your little duck.
BTW, we’ve been through the Newark airport. Gosh are you in for a 5.5 hour treat!
