Blog is back up

Sorry about not posting. The internet was done for most of the day everyone had a hard time getting on last night. But, we are back up. The day yesterday - you know, we didn't do a whole lot, but we were tired after it was all done. Let me back up a day. We had filled out alot of paperwork on Gotcha day. We were given a notice of where she was found. She was found in the No. 2 farmer's market in the agricultural district out in the sticks. Two policemen were called, they investigated, spent the next several days looking for her parents, and then declared her abandoned. We also received a newspaper clipping where they show a picture of all the babies who had been abandoned. It is quite sad.

Yesterday was the Civil Affairs day. It took about four hours for all of this stuff to happen, but all we did was sit around. We had an interview with a notary, a civil affairs agent, and met with the orphanage director. The pictures below are from all of this. We were presented with the official papers declaring that we are now her legal parents, although spiritually we already were. It's official then, she is ours. Slid a tax deduction in right under the wire. She laughs and plays alot. Except last night. She hollered for about two hours. Michelle took care of it by herself. She's pretty tired. I've been sick. But I slept, feeling better, so maybe Chelle can get some sleep today.

Spence decided to come play with Yazi

She's getting an eye for the camera. It flashes non stop.

This is my hog clothes from Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Merrilee. This is actually a little big for her. We thought that she would not be able to fit in it. So, you can see, she is fairly tiny.

Spencer, you look so happy in that crib with Yazi Kate! I think you're probably going to be one of the best big brothers I've ever known, (and I know Yazi will think the same thing)
Love,

Well, Merrilee and I have talked and have decided that if she is as cute in person as she looks in pictures, I think we'll just go ahead and take her home with us. Okay? And for all who are going to the airport, we call first place, so just plan on getting behind us.
